Wings and Wheels Update
The weather conditions expected for this weekend are resulting in a reduction to the planned large model flying. (OPNOT 2013-01 refers). The only closures for model flying will be from 1300 to 1330 each day (1200Z to 1230z); all other model flying slots are cancelled.

Pre-Flight Inspections
The CAA have published Safety Notice 2013/002 aimed at General Aviation pilots, reminding us all of the need to complete pre-flight inspections properly. They are specifically concerned about aircraft going flying with tie-downs still attached! You can see the Safety Notice here.

Restricted Airspace – Temporary Airport Closures
