Flying Schools
Located conveniently for Birmingham and the West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire, Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green lies comfortably outside controlled airspace. With three tarmac runways and no airline traffic the airport offers an ideal environment in which to learn to fly. The Airport is licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority and provides its own Air Traffic and Fire & Rescue services.
Fixed wing, microlight and helicopter training facilities exist so there's something for everyone. The various schools based at the airport cater for those who wish to learn to fly or qualified pilots looking to take their flying careers towards their commercial licences.
