Rotors Running Refuelling

"Rotors Running" refuelling of turbine helicopters is available to approved operators; requests for rotors running refuelling should be made in advance whenever possible as our ability to provide this service depends on staff availability. If rotors running refuelling is not available, we will always aim to refuel helicopters as quickly as possible.

Operators wishing to make use of this service should fill in an application form and account opening form; these should be returned to the Airport Office along with a copy of the Operator's refuelling procedures. A rotors running fuelling permit will be issued as soon as possible. Operators should ensure that all pilots are aware of the procedures printed on the back of the permit. Normal fuel charges and landing fees apply.
