CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE - 28th April 2021

From the 12th April 2021 the airport will open Wednesdays - Sundays 09.30 - 18.00hrs (local time).


From the 1st May 2021 the airfield will return to normal 7 day operations and published hours


During periods when the airfield is closed any approved / essential flights can be undertaken following the Out of Hours Procedure detailed below.


Fuel will continue to remain available 7 days per week.


Full support will be given to approved essential flights including provision of ATS and RFFS services as required - subject to PPR.


All flights are strictly PPR.


During periods when the airfield is closed PPR should be requested by email : info@wolverhamptonairport.co.uk or by phone 07979144902.


Out of Hours


Approved / Essential flights can fly during periods when the airfield is closed following the existing Out of Hours Permit system. All flights are strictly PPR and must follow the agreed procedure and all government guidelines.


An out of hours permit must be signed and on completion of the flight and a movements form submitted with flight details. Both forms are available by clicking here.


Please note during published hours all PPR requests should be made directly with ATC on 01384 221378

​Access to Site


Access to the airport remains restricted and the main gates will be closed for extended periods. Personnel requiring access to their units will be able to do so via the key code if closed.

Tenants are asked to make their own arrangements in regard receipt of mail / deliveries when the airfield is closed. The airport office will not be able to receive all deliveries during this period.
